Recently, 33 countries representing over 2 billion people signed the Declaration on “Promoting Women’s Health and Strengthening the Family”. The signatories of the declaration set seven goals, including the “preservation of human life”. The health of women should be improved and the “family as the foundation of a society” should be strengthened.
The signatories emphasize that “in no case should abortion be promoted as a family planning method” and that “any action or change related to abortion within the health system can only be determined at national or local levels in accordance with the national legislative process”.
The US Department of Health explains: “For example, it is the sovereign right of any nation to pass its own abortion laws without external pressure.” Of course, Justin Trudeau could never agree to such a statement: in 2017 he committed over half a billion dollars to fund abortion in Asia and Africa. This will increase to $700 million per year in 2023.
Hardly any western signatory states
The declaration affirms that the child “needs special protective and welfare measures before and after birth” and that “special protective and auxiliary measures should be taken on behalf of all children”, based on the principle of the best interests of the child.
In addition to the US under Donald Trump, Brazil and Georgia, numerous African and Arab nations have signed the declaration. In contrast, there are only two EU states: Poland and Hungary. In Canada, the protection of life, the family and one’s own sovereignty do not play a special role for the cultural Marxists in the Liberal Party and their globalist overlords.
It is almost certain that President Joe Biden will also withdraw the US from the declaration.
