Senator Rand Paul has asked US Corona “expert” Dr. Anthony Fauci to testify under oath about his funding of bat experiments at the corona laboratory in Wuhan. Republicans are demanding that all confidential documentation related to the process be disclosed.
Fauci is the chairman of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and served for 50 years at the US Department of Health’s National Institute of Health (NIH). On Tuesday, after a long denial, Fauci admitted that the NIH had funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) with around $600,000 since 2014.
Joe Biden had stopped the investigation by the biological weapons experts of Trump and Foreign Secretary Mike Pompeo into the origin of the virus at the beginning of his presidency, but now has had to instruct the government to further investigate the laboratory accident theory after the latest revelations.
“This test is not to be conducted by WHO or international groups, or by Americans who helped fund this laboratory,” Senator Rand Paul (Republican of Kentucky) told Fox News. “Dr. Fauci and his selected EcoHealth employees have funded this lab, they have a conflict of interest and that is to make sure nothing incriminating about the use of NIH funds is exposed.”

Because that could happen again at any time. They are experimenting there on the SARS virus, which is 15 times more deadly than Covid-19. Covid-19 kills about 1%, that is over 3 million people so far. If a SARS virus escaped from the laboratory, it could kill 50 million.”
The Biden investigation is now led by the President’s National Security Council (NSC). Rand Paul, on the other hand, calls for a non-partisan investigation: “That shouldn’t really be a party-political issue,” said Paul. “I don’t know if the same government that called off the first investigation can be trusted with this investigation. I see an acute risk of blackout here.”
