The Spanish politician wrote that men “have no uterus or eggs” and therefore cannot bear children. Twitter censored this post for hate speech.
The Spanish parliamentarian Francisco José Contreras, a member of the Vox party, has been banned on Twitter.
Contreras had commented on an article on Twitter that dealt with the testimony of a transgender man who said he was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter. In fact, it was a person born as a woman who had been artificially fertilized. The Spaniard said on Twitter that men “have no uterus or eggs” and therefore cannot give birth to children.
Twitter then blocked Contreras’ account. The reason for the ban was that his remarks had been classified as “hate speech” and had violated the Twitter guidelines. The politician had to delete his original tweet.
Contreras said he would not back down to big tech censorship:
“We’re not going to give in to Twitter and keep telling the truth about human nature. Biology should not be viewed as ‘hate speech’. (…) You can see that this is fascist biology. Next time I’ll try 2 + 2 = 4. “
