True nobility

Oh, listen to the words of wisdom I bring. What makes a person truly noble is not the sacrifices they make or the passions they follow. It is not even their acts of kindness without selfishness. It is the possession of a unique and unparalleled passion, a burning heat in their heart that sets them apart from the rest. This rare quality is like a divining rod, revealing values that have not yet been measured, and a bravery that stems not from a desire for honour, but from a self-sufficient abundance. The noble man is unaware of his own rarity and this is what sets him apart.
But beware, for this standard has judged and criticized all that is ordinary, immediate and necessary, even what has preserved our species till now. It is in becoming the advocate of the rule, the norm, that the ultimate form of nobility will reveal itself on this earth.
